  • Mapleton Center for Rehabilitation (Boulder Community Hospital) Brain Injury Department staff neuropsychologist and psychologist focusing in comprehensive evaluation and treatment for ADD, learning challenges, pain, and neuropsychological conditions within a multi-disciplinary team.

  • EMDR: (Dr. Francine Shaprio) Level II trained in the trauma therapy Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing including protocols for specific issues in ADD, procrastination, productivity, addiction, obsessive-compulsive behavior, smoking, weight loss, pain, grief, psychological trauma, Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD),etc.

  • Somatic Experiencing (Dr. Peter Levine) trauma therapy - Certified Somatic Experiencing Practitioner since September. 2005.  Body centered technique that allows processing of manageable pieces of issues within a state of nervous system regulation, connection, and security in the therapeutic relationship.

  • Brainspotting technique (Dr. David Grand) - Certified since 2013.  Additional training in Lisa Schwartz' Brainspotting with Complex PTSD and Attachment Issues; Ruby Gibson's Generational Brainspotting for conditions arising from family legacy issues (prior family losses, illnesses, relocations, addictions, involvement in war trauma, etc.)

  • Beyond Consequences (Heather Forbes, LCSW) nervous system regulation and attachment based parenting technique certified instructor for managing difficult behaviors, raging, defiance, overwhelm and meltdown. Certified teacher of Beyond Consequences. 

  • Collaborative Problem Solving Approach - Dr. Ross Greene and Stuart Albion for dysregulated children and adolescents

  • Tri-City Community Mental Health Center focusing on psychotherapy and evaluation of learning challenges, psychological trauma and neuropsychological challenges (pre-doctoral and post-doctoral internships, one year each)
